Finally MuteCity DMGs now has itself a .com and a new name! We will now be trading under Mute City Electronics.
We have also gotten a much wider range of products a inculding the Glitch Nes 0.2, krikzz's outstanding flash cartridge range, and even some boxed reproductions- no shop has ever done any thing like this before!
We also have more custom gameboys on their way. Our new artist is working on them right now and we should have them by the end of the week! I'm working on a really cool Super Nintendo mod at the moment which will be up in our new custom shop in the next coming week.

Hello all, I haven't updated the site in quite a while and I wanted to let you know what's been going on.
I have been keeping busy selling NES and SNES reproductions for the last while, But I have more time on my hands these days and I want to get back into custom consoles. So I teamed up with a very talented graffiti artist who goes by the name of Crept, you can check out his Flickr here.
He will be doing all the custom paint jobs for the site from now on. I have one custom Playstation which he is working on. Here is a sneak peek.

As well as more custom consoles, I am planning to open a new online shop soon with LSDJ cartridges and other interesting products. But right now we are still in the planning stages. I will update you when there is progress.
Rest assured there will be a lot more things happening here in the near future. We should have some Glitch NES 2 cartridges soon and I'm also working on some Neo Geo projects which I will blog about soon.

Here is a copy of Moon Crystal in english, It is a famicon game. It very good, has a Prince of Persia feel to it. This game is 25 dollars shipped.
Here is a copy of the real Super Mario Bros 2, It is known as SMB2J or the lost levels, it was only released in japan on the famicom disk system.
It is in my eyes a much better game then what we got!
Here is a copy of the unreleased Final Fantasy 2 for the NES, Some of you many be thinking is Final Fantasy 2 not for the super NES.
That game is really Final Fantasy 4, Nintendo didn't released a large part of the Final Fantasy in the west.

Sweet Home is a RPG horror game that again only was only released in japan on the famicon, I haven't played much of but it but I hear it's a great game.

I have for you another great RPG that was only released in japan on the famicon. It's YS Book 1, Now the west never got any games for the YS series on till the third game.
If your a fan of YS Book 3 why not pick up the first game, It is in english.
Last we have a repro of the tenth rarest game in the world, It the Donkey Kong Country Competition Cartridge.
As most of us don't have the money to buy the real thing I had a repro of this game for those who just want to play it.

This lovely label was made by Thretris.There is a link for his site in my friends section. The cartridge will not damage your NES or circuit-bend it! The NES will play as normal when the cartridge is removed.
These cartridges are 30 dollars each plus 5 dollars for shipping.

Yes I have made my frist mario adventure cartridge.
Mario adventure is simple the best NES hack there is! Pretty much ever thing has been change or improved, dahrkdaiz (the hacks maker) even tweaked the games engine!
This is probably why it was so difficult to reproduce.
If you haven't heard of this hack I would google it right now as it really is like a brand new mario game!

I just wanted to fill everyone in on the site news.
The new game reproductions site will be up soon with a huge range of games to chose from. It will work A little differently, you will have to send in a game to be modified
Let me use Glitch NES as an example, First you have to send in a "donor game" (a game I will modify into your new cart) and pay in this case 15 dollars.
After I receive your donor game Ill will work my magic and send it.
You may also be wounding why im a using a donor game well two reasons.
The first one is lock out chip, I don't have to mess about making sure that there are games in stock with both PAL and NTSC lock Out chips.
The second reason is the condition of game cart, the game cart you send in will be the same as the game cart you get back. So you don't have to worry about there condition

Here they are - the Ultimate Boys! I don't think I have ever seen so many mods in one Gameboy.
Both Gameboys have pro sound mods which boost the sound, making it louder, clearer and gives it more bass.
They are back-lit with with nonfinites dual back lights with means you can make music in any lighting and can play your favourite games under the covers at night!
The original speaker has been replaced with a pitch mod. It works by flicking the switch and then the gameboy speed/pitch is controlled by the knob. Flick the switch back and the gameboy runs at its normal speed/pitch.
This mod makes some great sounds and is a lot of fun! As the speaker has been removed for the pitch mod, the Gameboys come with matching add-on speakers which sound great! These are powered by an additional two batteries.
Both gameboys have been fitted with a brand new screen still with it's plastic coat on, so when you buy it, you just peel it off for a band new look!
Both gameboys have all you could ever need in a gameboy.
Hi guys, The snes development project is off to a good start. My parts are shipping, labels and boxes are made up and are ready to print.
I have been looking for games that haven't been released or are not available in english, but today I found some very rare games that were only released for the satellaview attachment for the super famicon. (This was only released in japan)
These games are known as BS The Legend of Zelda and BS F Zero Grand Prix 2.
The BS The Legend of Zelda was a game based on the original Legend of Zelda for the nes but there are a few differences. (read more about it here)
BS F Zero Grand Prix 2 is based on the frist F Zero but there is 5 brand new tracks and the 4 cars from the frist game have a cool new look.
In the next few week im planing on making Star Fox 2, F Zero 2 and secret of mana 2 in English.

Also the amount of gameboys I modify will reduce as I am turning my attention to a different project, remaking old games.
I am starting with a remake of star fox 2 for the super nintendo. The game was never released as it was just finished when the nintendo 64 was being released.
I will be remaking this game so you can play it on your orignal snes for very little cost!
If I can successfully remake star fox 2, then I will start working on remaking a range of other games for the snes.
These will include secret of mana 2 in English, bahamut lagoon in English, rockman and forte (maga man 7) in English, Tales of Phantasia in engilsh and earthbound
